Style is a natural evolution, so it's no surprise we tend to notice that certain age groups dress differently than others. For instance, what do Bella Hadid, Sofia Richie, and Zendaya all have in common? Aside from all being some of the chicest celebs in their early 20s, they all have a trendier sense of style than some of the other celebs we talk about here, and they all gravitate toward the same items.

We did a little digging and came to the conclusion that there are five main wardrobe basics to own in your 20s if you're a fan of the following celebrity looks. We're calling these somewhat random basics because they're all a tad more specific—a knit tank rather than a plain one, a cropped sweatshirt rather than a full-length one… Curious to know which other basics are filling the closets of these 20-something A-listers? Keep on reading.

Knit Tanks

Who What Wear editors and celebs alike adore this simple wardrobe basic. It's a fan favorite for its minimal design that still feels a bit special.
