Havianas flip-flops were so ubiquitous at the recent Copenhagen Fashion Week, you would've thought they sponsored the event (which would be odd for a Brazilian company). The rubber shoes that were once reserved for the beach and were considered a faux pas to wear otherwise are now approved by some of the most stylish women around (including Pernille Teisbaek, who pretty much started the trend because her feet hurt during Paris Couture Fashion Week).

While Havianas are the go-to brand, there are plenty of options on the market that would get the job done and then some. Just for fun, I went on a cool-flip-flop-finding expedition in case you want to get in on the action. (And since it can be a very low-cost trend at that, why not?) To make it even more exciting, I'm ranking them from trendiest to "ugliest." Read on to pick your flip-flop poison (trust me—you'll want to scroll to the very end).

Next up, read all about what happened when my boss made me wear high-heel Crocs.
