3 Items Selling Out at Topshop Right Now

One of the best approaches to cultivating your personal style is mastering the high-low mix. Discovering creative ways to pair affordable separates from budget-friendly retailers with your other vintage and designer finds is a creative, smart approach to fashion that's worth experimenting with. That said, sometimes the best pieces from spots like Topshop come and go so quickly that if you're not on the lookout, you just might miss them. Such is the case for three key pieces this season: a slip skirt, strappy sandals, and a printed dress.

We tapped the team at Topshop to not only find out which items they predict will sell out but also get some insightful stats about why these items have had such instant success and what their plans are for replenishing the inventory. Ahead, hear from the Topshop team about these style staples, and shop your favorites before they're gone for good.

The Trend: "The satin slip is the must-have item for the season as it's super versatile and ready for any occasion as the ankle-grazing silhouette is the perfect length to dress up or down, and it will take you from day to night with ease. It's been about the midi-length dress for so long; it’s time to mix it up with some separates and get more mileage with your favorite wardrobe staples!" — Toni Purdie, head of design

Strippy Heeled Sandals

The Stats: Both colors sold out in a few days, with black being the most popular color.

Current Inventory: Both colors have been restocked. Additionally, lime, snake, and off-white will be introduced in May.

The Trend: "Were seeing a shift back to a slimmer profile for footwear for the spring/summer season, with a focus on barely there sandals. The ’90s-inspired shape and the very wearable mid-heel height of our Strippy style have caught the attention of our customer. In fact, it’s been so popular that it sold out within days. To cope with the demand, we’ve restocked the style on Topshop.com in both black and coral this afternoon, and we’re expecting them to sell out again very quickly.” — Anthony Cuthbertson, global design director
