The Top 5 Looks From Zimmermann's NYFW Show
It's no secret that we love to champion local labels—and fashion favourite Zimmermann makes our job very easy. The brand's A/W 16 collection, "Mirror Mirror" shown at New York Fashion Week lived up to the hype: there were fun, reflective embellishments, the enduring opulence of the delicate lace pieces that have become a core part of the brand, and a riot of signature florals in dark, decadent shades.
Fashion influencer Brooke Testoni was in attendance (along with Hilary Duff and Australian model Jess Hart) for the spectacular showing and here, she gives us the inside scoop of the five looks you'll be coveting most from this inventive collection.

"A head turner was this oversized suit in a beautiful matching silk, these earthy tones being perfect for the autumn season. There is an obvious 70s influence across the whole collection which I am absolutely loving."
"This maxi was a big stand out, really epitomising the Zimmermann style of exaggerated maxi-length dresses, lace detailing and this particular silhouette was balanced with a plunging neckline and bell sleeves."
"Here, a cut-out dress was layered over a bell-sleeve blouse with details found in the glitz through the fabric. I'm loving the different spin on these classic silhouettes: a bit of sparkle is always a nice way to add detail on an outfit."
"With more of an 80s tomboy vibe coming through in this look, this silk bomber was a true stand out. The pin stripes and zip detail add a bit of edge to what was a very feminine collection overall."
"My favourite piece in the collection, this classic full jumpsuit with a blazer-cut neckline. The 70s vibe comes across again really strongly in this look and I'm loving the pastel pink shade paired with the darker tones of the overcoat."
