Taylor Swift Wore $59 Shorts With 2019's Biggest Sneaker Trend

Taylor Swift is back, folks. Not that she ever left, but she's certainly been out and about more than usual this past week and her outfits have, of course, been the focus of our attention. This week in New York (prior to attending Gigi Hadid's birthday party that evening), Swift hit the streets wearing a decidedly spring-friendly look: a floral-printed T-shirt, matching floral-print high-waisted shorts, and sneakers (it seems that her streetwear phase may be over). But she didn't opt for dad sneakers—instead, she went with a fresher style that's been on the rise this year: retro sneakers

Swift opted for a pair of pink Gucci sneakers that are right in step with the trend, and if you're on a budget, brands like Adidas and Reebok have been reviving sneakers they first released decades ago (or are at least inspired by those throwback styles). And speaking of budget, Swift balanced out her designer sneakers with $59 shorts from Urban Outfitters (which are still in stock, in case you're interested).
