I'm a Picky Shopper, and This Is What I'd Buy From Nordstrom for Summer
By now, you should be pretty aware of the fact that I am, in fact, a very picky shopper. If not, here’s the gist: While it’s semi-annoying for me (especially when I have an occasion or specific item to shop for), it’s actually great for you, our readers, because it means I take all my picks and recommendations very seriously. With that in mind, today I’ve turned my laser-sharp focus to Nordstrom’s extensive selection because one, summer is finally here, and two, why not? Whether you’re a "loyalist” who already has a massive wish list that needs editing down or you don’t shop from Nordstrom often (but are about to want to start), I think you’ll find my not-so-little roundup useful or at the very least a treat to scroll through. To get started shopping, simply continue on, and be sure not to quit before you get to the shoe section!
Tops
White tops are a summer staple, but I think black tops are equally as important.
If you're going to buy one "jacket" for summer, let it be a light blazer.
No fashion girl can resist a designer graphic tee—especially when it's on sale.
Bottoms
I probably won't be jogging in them, but I will be wearing them.
If you're over cutoffs but scared of Bermuda shorts, this length is for you.
Style this with a slim-fitting bodysuit for a nice contrast at the waist.
Pair this with any neutral tank and sandals and you can't go wrong.
Dresses
This will look just as chic dressed down with flats as it does with heels.
Bags, Beachwear, & More
A stunning pop of color for all your summer looks.
I'm not much of a hat person, but this one is really calling my name.
Shoes
Is it just me or do these look way more expensive than their price tag?
Call me biased, but these are the ideal summer block heels for everyday.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
