My Birthday Is This Month—30 Stylish Things That Are on My Wish List
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
Although I don't feel 38, that's the age I'm technically turning this month. Inevitably, someone in my life will ask me for a birthday list later this month, and I've never really been one to not oblige. While some may want to be surprised or just to say they don't want anything, I'm happy to provide a list if it makes my friends' and family members' lives a little easier. So I made one.
Given my birthday's position right in the middle of summer, my wish list usually involves plenty of summer-friendly items and perhaps some things to bring on vacation. This year's list has a similar trajectory and includes warm-weather fashion items, shoes, and jewelry as well as trendy pieces I wouldn't necessarily buy for myself. Scroll on to see which items I have my eye on and shop them for yourself.
I think about buying this for myself a lot, but maybe someone else will.
Celeb-favorite tattoo artist winterstone collaborated with Inked by Dani for a set of chic temporary tattoos, and they're the perfect birthday gift.
As a germaphobe and Byredo lover, this makes me happy.
I'm not sure I'd buy a $75 highlighter for myself on a whim, but if anyone wanted to gift me with this, I definitely wouldn't be opposed.
These are the kind of sunglasses I'd want to hang on to for a lifetime.
I'm not opposed to asking for jeans for my birthday. This pair is making the cut.
I know that everyone wants the Cagole bag, but I think this one is more timeless.
I've been patiently waiting for months for this chic coffee-table book to be restocked.
I'm in a cooking rut—maybe these would inspire me.
Denim jackets are cool again, and this is the one I'm eyeing. (I'd probably size up for an even more oversize fit.)
Maybe if I had this I'd finally be motivated to get a new phone…
I've been in the market for a 14k gold bracelet I never have to take off, and I think I found it.
I've never met a D.S. & Durga candle I didn't love. This new one is likely no exception.
My favorite kind of top as of late is a vest. The color of this one is perfection.
I love asking for birthday gifts I wouldn't necessarily buy for myself.
A gift for my doggie is a gift for me.
As someone who is allergic to bug bites, this is very appealing to me.
