I Save Outfit Ideas on Instagram All Day Long—These 9 Are My Favorites

Sponsor Content Created With Macy's

I spend way more time each day scrolling through Instagram than I'd like to admit. Naturally, there's a little bit of meme content, news, and some ridiculous Instagram Stories from my close friends in the mix, but the majority of what I choose to look at is fashion-related. It's called research, okay?

What I'm currently excited about is that the outfits I'm seeing from my favorite editors, influencers, and the like are finally free of coats, beanies, and other indications of cold weather. That means that spring is officially here, at least according to Instagram, and that the shopping shall commence if it hasn't already. Right now, I have these nine on-trend looks comprised of items from Macy's saved for reference. The retailer never fails me with affordable, stylish, and trendy pieces so I wasn't surprised to see how many people were already shopping and sharing so many great Macy's finds. See them all below.

Who What Wear editor Courtney Higgs is based in Los Angeles (lucky), where sleeveless dresses are already considered appropriate. A floral midi dress like the one she's wearing is so easy to throw on on those mornings when that "what should I wear?" question is looming for way too long.

I've purchased my fair share of cropped cardigans the last few months, but this one is only $60 and looks great with denim. Those are honestly the only reasons I need to add it to my collection for an easy on-trend weekend outfit.

Anything that has puffy sleeves feels instantly more polished and—dare I say—fun. Take this micro-floral printed minidress I spotted on Natacha John, for example. The sweetheart neckline already adds something special, but then those bloomy sleeves really take it to the next level. The only thing I don't like about this dress is that I can only buy it in one colorway.

Here's another floral dress I have my eye on. I particularly love how the ruffles and tie waist give it that romantic feel. I would have otherwise probably styled it with flat sandals, but I'm reconsidering after seeing Veronica Bonilla wear it with lug-sole boots and a blazer.

I saved this outfit because it's exactly the kind of thing I want to wear on weekends when someone suggests last-minute brunch plans at my favorite café. It's casual but not leggings-and-a-tank-top casual. I also really like the soft blush color of the top for spring timing, but it also comes in ivory and black.

Trench coats always fall under the spring-essentials category for practical reasons. After all, the expression "April showers bring May flowers" wasn't made up for nothing. Even when it's not raining, a trench is a must-have basic as far as I'm concerned. For spring, I'm seeing them worn alone as a dress with the belt cinched around the waist to add some shape. Kelsey DiPrima does this look so well and makes it feel very NYC with her knee-high snakeskin boots.

I live in midi and maxi skirts in spring because they're appropriate for the office and for whatever else I'm doing after hours. I love that Margot styled this light-blue one with a matching colored top and white strappy sandals for a little pop. It's also only $39. Nope, I can't believe that either.

My friends used to joke that I only wore all-black outfits in the winter and all-white outfits in the summer. While I've definitely incorporated more color into my wardrobe over the years, I couldn't help but add this white denim look to my saved folder.

Last but not least, I saved this photo of myself (shameless, I know) because I want to remember to repeat it soon. I'm always a fan of animal prints, and my current favorite is snakeskin. I can't wait to wear these pants with a white tank when the weather permits, but for now, this little Levi's denim shirt will do just fine.
