These 5 On-Trend Dress Outfits Are All I Need for Spring

Welcome to Weekday Wardrobe, a series in which one Who What Wear editor or staffer will snap a pic of the outfits they wear from Monday to Friday. We'll break down where you can shop it all to inspire your own everyday style, no matter what's on your weekly agenda.

When it comes to my style, I've never been one to put myself in a box—but if there's one thing that remains constant, it's my love for dresses. Come spring, they're all I want to wear, and my fellow editors are very much on the same page. Our editor in chief, Kat Collings, put it this way: "Having a few workhorse dresses in your closet is absolutely key to any solid spring wardrobe. There's an ease to spring dressing, and versatile, pretty dresses that you can throw on for multiple occasions just feel right."

Kat told me that this year, she's already scooped up so many from Anthropologie to add to her collection. That didn't surprise me because I, too, have dozens of screenshots of the retailer's incredibly chic and on-trend spring collection on my phone. You can truly find something for every occasion—from an office trip or coffee run to a beachside dinner or an evening out with friends. Want a peek at the pieces Kat's already wearing? Keep scrolling for a week's worth of her covetable outfits that you'll want to snap up immediately.

"On Mondays, I like to rely on a jolt of color (and let's be honest, a lot of coffee, too) to kick-start my week, and this cornflower-blue stunner is delivering! Spoiler: This color is sold out, but what I really fell hard for was this dress's embroidery detail, which is just as evident on the other two available colors. It adds subtle yet beautiful texture and dimension to the fabric. As if the embroidery wasn't enough, the covered buttons are also a big selling point because they lend an expensive air to any outfit. I'd wear this look to the office on a low-key day because it's the kind of easy dress you can feel comfortable in all day long. A pretty olive bag with a tie handle and Birkenstocks with statement gold buckles that feel like jewelry finish off the look, no matter which color you go with."

"I can picture wearing this look on a mid-week visit to the farmer's market. It's super easy to throw on yet has special details like halter-neck straps and a low back that give it a little more spice than your average day dress. My cute leopard tote will hold some choice produce, and my straw hat will keep me out of the sun. Lastly, strappy flat sandals are practically the official shoe of choice at Los Angeles farmer's markets, so naturally, I had to follow suit."

"Anyone who knows my style well knows that I love a contrast stitch. The blue contrasting thread on this dress immediately caught my eye, especially because you usually see the detail in black or white. It adds the perfect touch of edge, which balances out the pretty ruffles and puff shoulder. If a dress is going to be on the shorter side, I also like it to be a little forgiving, and this breezy number absolutely checks that box. You could wear this perfect dress anywhere, but I see it as an excellent throw-on-and-go option for running errands because it's equal parts relaxed and polished. My errand mission accomplices are Birkenstocks that literally mold to your feet for personalized comfort and this woven bag with a crossbody strap option."

"We're already having some warm evenings in L.A., and this dress would be spot-on for a sunset dinner at one of my favorite beachside restaurants. More often than not, I spend weekday evenings at home cooking and relaxing, but I think this dress is begging for a 'let's buck the norm' moment. The wavy print feels perfectly on-trend but also neutral and completely wearable. And the keyhole and cutout details are just the cherry on top. To let the dress shine, I paired it with accessories in the same color families as the print, including some killer cream strappy sandals and a taupe mini tote."

"Baby, it's the end of the workweek, and my outfit is going to match the mood. What's not to love about this tangerine dream? The lace-up keyhole is alluring without being too revealing, and the striking color just feels happy. I love that this dress works for daytime but can so easily transition to an evening out. Happy hour, anyone? I'll be ready for anything in the same strappy sandals from last night (when you find comfortable heels, you run with them) and a colorful tote that is practically begging for a fun time."
