My Style Is Simple, and These Are the Street Style Looks I'm About to Copy

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: My style is simple, but I like to think that doesn’t equate to boring. I still love statement pieces and a wide range of brands, and I even surprise myself from time to time with an out-there outfit idea, but when it comes to my day-to-day look, I like to keep it pretty minimal and classic. It’s funny, though, as it relates to today’s story, because those two adjectives aren’t exactly what come to mind when you think of street style, which, with each new season becomes more and more exaggerated, out-there, and over the top. However, I’ve realized that if you look closely enough, there are still a handful of showgoers who skip the many, many statement pieces and deliver simply good outfits composed mostly of basics. Don’t believe me? Just keep scrolling to see (and shop) nine street style outfits that even those with minimal style won’t be able to help but love.

Editor-at-Large

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
