To say Dany Garcia is a powerhouse is an understatement. Her vast entrepreneurial pursuits speak for themselves: She is a chairwoman, entertainment magnate, founder, investor, philanthropist, professional athlete, and producer. Garcia is the founder, CEO, and chairwoman of The Garcia Companies and TGC Management. She utilizes her keen expertise to foster growth for a massive portfolio of brands within the business, entertainment, entrepreneurial, fashion, and food spaces, including the XFL, polished-to-perform lifestyle fashion brand GSTQ, and ZOA Energy. She is also the co-founder of Seven Bucks Productions alongside longtime business partner Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and one of the trailblazing forces behind box-office blockbusters such as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Jungle Cruise, and Skyscraper, and HBO’s iconic series Ballers, among many others. Throughout her unmatched career, Garcia has built billion-dollar brands by taking risks, adapting business models, and pioneering an audience-first ethos across her universe.

Garcia's latest venture is the contemporary ready-to-wear line GSTQ, which fuses chic power-dressing pieces with the ease and movement of sportswear to ultimately create clothing that empowers women to perform at their full potential. As if that was not impressive enough, last year, Garcia acquired the professional football league XFL, making her the first and only woman to own an equal or majority stake in a major professional league in the U.S.

But before Garcia began her burgeoning career, she actually spent her first life in wealth management at Merrill Lynch and then moved on to start her own wealth-management firm. Listen to the latest episode of Second Life to hear how Garcia's past knowledge from wealth management helped her build her rapidly evolving empire.
