SJP Wore Gap Skinny Jeans With Quite the Polarizing Shoe Choice

A couple things we love: Sarah Jessica Parker and affordable skinny jeans. Put the two together, and it's newsworthy to us. SJP recently stepped out for an appearance at her namesake store in New York and was seen wearing a look that's more classic than what she usually goes for. Of course, as we know, the perfect jeans don't require a lot of bells and whistles.

The jeans in question are Gap's High Rise True Skinny Ankle Jeans, complete with a bit of stretch and a cropped raw hem. Based on the celebrity endorsement and $80 price tag, we're pretty sure that you should buy them if you're in the market for a new pair of skinny jeans for fall. With the jeans, SJP wore a cropped white button-down shirt and a shoe style that we don't often see: high-heel oxfords. While they may give some people pause, you have to admit that they look quite cool with the simple outfit, so we, for one, are certainly not opposed.

The sparkly shoes are from her brand's upcoming fall collection, but you can shop a similar pair, as well as the ultra-flattering jeans, below.
