Welcome to Let's Get a Room, a series where editor Eliza Huber heads to the dressing room to try on pieces from your favorite retailers, buzzy items, and new collections. Think of this column as a detailed guide to the pieces that are actually worth buying and the ones that, unfortunately, looked better online—no returns necessary.

I shop for a living and, sometimes, even I forget about great brands for long stints of time. Busy scrolling through page after page of products from major retailers or scouring the internet for indie brands, I occasionally find myself blanking on labels that consistently hit and, in turn, missing out on drops that I would've likely freaked out about. But not this time.

It has been months since I last gave Reformation's website a thorough deep dive, and thank god I did it when I did because not one of the cult-favorite fashion brand's new spring pieces is a miss. And no, I'm not exaggerating. But to truly get my stamp of approval, the warm-weather drop had to feel as good on as it looked online. And thus, I ended up spending hours in the dressing room at Reformation's SoHo store in Manhattan, trying on every piece that caught my eye.

Keep scrolling to check out the 16 pieces from Reformation that passed my try-on test with flying colors. Perhaps they'll pass yours too.

Do you want to know where this dress is now? Hanging in my closet. That's how good it is. With its high slit and corset-like ruched bodice, I haven't tried on a dress this good in a while.

I love slip dresses as much as the next person, but they aren't particularly easy to get right. This one, however, is flawless. From the mossy color to the open back and lace detailing, this is *the* slip dress to buy right now.

Just like everyone else right now, I'm obsessed with green, especially this avocado-esque shade. I love the idea of pairing the color with more muted tones like these shades of khaki and cream. As for the pants, it's hard to compete with baggy trousers.

Not me getting inspiration from Julia Fox while eyeing the selection at Reformation. This denim bra is next-level, especially when paired with the matching wide-leg jeans. But it's the leather Veda x Reformation blazer that really seals the deal.

I'm not usually so bold with prints, but something about this psychedelic pattern caught my eye. While the print is the same, I love that the textures on the jeans and the satin top are polar opposites, adding dimension to this look.

I'm in my mod era, apparently. Right when I walked into the store, I noticed this fun denim set (which also comes in a pant version) and knew I had to test it out. What I loved most was that the skirt wasn't super short like some I've seen recently, so it's more versatile.

As I was trying my chosen pieces on, Reformation's store manager knocked on my dressing-room door with a tiny leather dress in hand, letting me know that it hadn't even been added to the floor yet but was a must-try. She was right. This brand-new dress is incredible, and it has a tiny leg slit, thick straps, and the smoothest leather fabric you'll ever feel.

Ah, the power of a little black dress. I eyed this black maxi dress online prior to my trek to Reformation, knowing that I wanted to try it on in person. And it didn't disappoint. The back is completely open and has a rope strap that adds a fun touch to this otherwise classic silhouette. The fabric is super soft and body-hugging (in a good way), and the length is perfect for spring/summer 2022's maxi trend.

This ruched top is like a corset with none of the boning and discomfort. It's double-lined, so you can go braless and still be covered (in terms of the sheerness) and supported. The back is semi-open with a big bow for added support and style, while the sleeves add a Regency-era touch that will forever be en vogue.

Yes, those are little butterflies and dragonflies embroidered on the bodice of this corset top. Swoon.
