The Pretty Dress Trend That's Basically Internet-Stalking Me

Does anyone else keep a secret Pinterest board where you pin items you might want to buy? Unless it's a gotta-have-it-now item that I purchase on the spot, I check the board every couple days to compare all the pieces I'm mulling over, which helps me decide which ones I actually want to pull the trigger on.

Well, I recently scanned my board and realized that many of the items were versions of the same specific dress trend: puff-sleeve dresses with sweetheart necklines. As soon as I realized it, I started seeing the combination everywhere, each one tempting me more than the last. Should I try to escape the pull or give in? (Rhetorical question—of course I'm going to succumb to the bait.)

A slew of designers have offered unique takes on the trend, from Turkish designer Gül Hürgel's beautiful pink dress to Spanish designer Alejandra Alonso Rojas's lovely shirred number. Determined to find the best iterations on the internet, I unearthed dresses at every price point, including a $50 babydoll dress and a $76 mini that are begging to come home with you. Scroll down to shop the 19 best puff-sleeve sweetheart dresses available right now.

Turkish designer Gül Hürgel hit the nail on the head with this saccharine daisy dress.

I can't stop thinking about this perfect mint-green color.

This lightweight cotton dress will get you through the hottest of summer days.

Commit this name to memory: Alejandra Alonso Rojas. She's a Spanish designer who creates beautiful, sustainably produced clothes—my current favorite being this shirred dress.

This minidress looks way more expensive than it is.

This silk crepe dress by Borgo de Nor will be a hit at all of your summer parties and weddings.

This is a prime picnic dress, but you'll be tempted to wear it just about anywhere.

Fashion girl favorite brand Dôen can do no wrong, especially when it comes to printed dresses.

This cute denim dress is begging to be worn with your favorite white sneakers.

This is a more than worthy contender in the under-$100 category.

Reformation's version of the trend hits all the right notes.

It doesn't get any sweeter than this $50 babydoll dress.

Shopping Alexa Chung's brand is like buying straight from her insanely stylish closet.

I'm advocating for the creation of Bring Your Puff Sleeves to Work Day.

A little '90s vibe never hurt anyone.
