The Swimsuit Every Australian Girl Wants to Buy This Summer

Amanda Stavropoulos

By now, you would have heard that fashion is having an obsession with the colour pink. But not just any shade of pink, a specific hue that has proven to be so popular, it’s even had its own term coined—“Tumblr pink”. Over winter, it was all about the baby-pink silk bomber jacket (a nod to the movie Grease perhaps?), and it looks like the colour is set to rule summer, too. In a recent catch up with Nicole Banning of luxury Australian swimwear label Ephemera, the designer revealed “the Bonbon Classic Pink Top ($140) and Bonbon High Waist Bottoms ($90) from our S/S '16 collection have been rivalling the sales of our classic black pieces this year. We’ve almost sold out of this colour and we have more stock coming this month for summer. Women are loving the soft pretty pink in a cleaner cut.”

Not only does the bikini tick off the colour trend, but the shape feels so right for 2016. Its clean, simple shape, and clean-cut bra with hidden underwire creates a flattering cut. Keep scrolling to see the bikini being worn, then pre-order it for yourself (before it sells out again).
