Meghan Markle Made Her First Appearance With the Queen in a Chic Coat

Meghan Markle has been on a whirlwind of royal events the past few months. From attending the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum alongside Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Prince William to her solo tours with her fiancé, she has already made quite an impression on the public with her eloquence and dedication to women's rights. And while every event she's attended in the past has been an important one, today might just be Markle's biggest (and most special) royal affair to date: her first official appearance with Queen Elizabeth II.

Markle and Prince Harry stepped out alongside the Queen at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey. For the special occasion, the soon-to-be royal opted for a very elegant outfit consisting of a sleek black dress worn underneath a streamlined cream coat, both of which hail from British fashion designer Amanda Wakeley. Markle accessorized with a pair of navy Manolo Blahnik pumps (which just so happened to match with Middleton's footwear of choice), a cream-colored beret by Stephen Jones, and a Mulberry bag—how chic! Read on to see Markle's complete outfit for this special royal outing and the Queen's entrance.
