Marc Jacobs has churned out many a memorable collection, but there's one, in particular, that's firmly embedded in every fashion girl's memory: the 1993 grunge collection he designed during his tenure at Perry Ellis.

"The 'Grunge' collection epitomized the first time in my professional career I was unwavering in my determination to see my vision come to life on the runway, without creative compromise," Jacobs said in a statement. The press release also reminded us of the fact that Jacobs was famously fired when critics panned the 1993 show. Of course, his career trajectory speaks for itself.

Perry Ellis International was also on board with the resurrection and congratulated Jacobs for his "first of its kind collection that changed the direction of contemporary womenswear." Scroll down to shop the new pieces in all of their '90s glory, from plaid flannel to ultra-thin spaghetti straps.
