We Scoured the Internet for the Best Leggings for Tall Women—These 15 Won
Leggings are such a wardrobe essential, and because of that, it's 100% encouraged to invest in more than one pair. After all, we often find ourselves wearing them for many daytime (and nighttime) activities, whether we're running errands or working out. If you're on the taller side, it can take a little legwork (forgive the pun) to find leggings that hit at the right spot and aren't too cropped. The good news? There are a handful of retailers that specifically offer leggings for tall women, and we found the 15 best on the market.
How to Shop for Tall Leggings for Women
As a 5-foot, 9-inch tall editor myself, I know a thing or two about shopping for leggings for tall women. The key is to look for a larger inseam number than usual. Similarly to jeans, leggings also have different inseam numbers, with the majority falling in the "Regular" height category anywhere between 25 to 27 inches— often best for people who are 5'7 and below.
If you're shopping for leggings for tall women, you're going to want to look for inseams around 28 inches. The two most common types of leggings for tall women you'll find are between 28 to 30 inches, each corresponding to how taller you are than the average consumer.
For women between 5'8 and 5'9.5, 28-inch inseam leggings would be the best. If you're 5'10 and above, opt for a 30 or 32-inch inch inseam to ensure the proper fit.
While most retailers tend to carry special inseam sizes for petit and tall customers, if you're taller than usual, there are a few brands that carry leggings for extra-tall women.

The split hem on these make them feel much more elevated than your timeless black pair.
If you're looking for a cool girl-approved way to make leggings work for you, opt for a baggier, flared silhouette.
This grey color is a fun take on a neutral color for gym and airport leggings outfits.
By far the best pair on this list thanks to their ultra-low price point.
TikTok won't stop calling these flared leggings, and I'm here for it.
I'll leave you with this bright pop of color.
