Update, October 16, 2018: Almost a year after news first broke, Lady Gaga has finally confirmed her engagement to talent agent Christian Carino. The A Star Is Born actress made a rare public appearance with Carino at Elle's Women in Hollywood event last night, where Lady Gaga accepted an award with an emotional speech in which she thanked her fiancé, Christian, as well as "all the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day."

"Let's lift our voices," Lady Gaga said on stage, per Elle. "I know we are, but let's get louder. And not just as women, but as humans. And see that there are great men in the world and ask them to hold our hands. For justice. That our voices be heard. Whatever our story may be. For an equal standing. We will fight for justice for women and men and those with other sexual identities." Take a peek at Lady Gaga's speech at the clip below.

Although there is no official confirmation, Us Weekly reports that the singer is engaged to talent agent Christian Carino. As it turns out, the couple may have secretly gotten engaged this summer, keeping the news under wraps since then.

However, as Harper's Bazaar pointed out, Lady Gaga has not been shy about revealing that she's in love. "The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall," she said onstage during one of her concerts in September. Stay tuned as we learn more.

She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
