Cue the Bridesmaids references: Kristen Wiig is the newest celebrity bride-to-be. People confirmed that our favorite funny actress is engaged to actor and producer Avi Rothman, whom she's been dating since 2016. In fact, they've been secretly engaged for months now and we were none the wiser. While we obviously love a good Instagram engagement ring reveal, I have to hand it to Wiig for keeping the news under wraps for so long.

Honestly, I'll be extremely disappointed if her IRL bridesmaids don't include Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, and Rebel Wilson. It's only right that she ask them, don't you agree? And don't even get me started on how her bachelorette trip needs to be in Paris in honor of her Bridesmaids character's iconic party scene in the movie. For now, though, we'll settle for ogling at her classic silver engagement ring. It's beautiful and timeless, boasting a pavé diamond band and a solitaire diamond centerpiece. Scroll down to see Kristen Wiig's new engagement ring (and maybe re-watch Bridesmaids this weekend).

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
