Kendall Jenner Wore the 2022 Trend That's Way More Polished Than Skinny Jeans

Before I offend any of the die-hard skinny-jeans lovers out there, I want to say that I truly don't have anything against the classic style. I simply want to offer some alternatives if you're ever feeling stuck in a fashion rut and want to mix things up a bit. And that's where Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Sandra Oh, Demi Moore, Jamie Chung, and Kaia Gerber come in.

As it happens, all six women have recently worn khaki-colored, slightly baggy trousers and pulled them off with aplomb. You might associate trousers with the office, but these celebrities prove that they're just as easy to wear for running errands as jeans. For instance, Jenner dressed them up with kitten heels, but Bieber went for a chill look with sneakers. Moore wore them to fashion week, while Gerber wore them to grab a smoothie. If that doesn't prove how versatile the trend is, I don't know what does. Scroll down to see how each celeb styles khaki trousers.

Next, 6 Trends French Girls Are Wearing to Kick Off 2022

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
