Katie Holmes and I Couldn't Agree More on the Best Shoes to Wear to the Airport

Along with the rest of the fashion crowd, Katie Holmes just touched down in Paris, and naturally, I promptly investigated what she wore for the long flight. Since her rise to street style fame, I've come to discover that Holmes knows her way around a good casual outfit, always managing to look put-together and stylish but never sacrificing comfort. And if I have one rule when it comes to a travel outfit, it's exactly that. Upon landing in Paris, Holmes was photographed wearing a crew-neck sweater, straight-leg jeans, a camel coat and scarf, and my holy-grail airport shoes: Gucci Jordaan Loafers.

These classic flats are hardly a secret. They've remained one of the most popular designer flats on the market for several years and are worn regularly by celebs like Dakota Johnson, Emma Roberts, and Selena Gomez, in addition to Holmes. I also splurged on a pair in black a few years back and have worn them for almost every trip I take. They're the most comfortable shoes I own (by far), they never go out of style, and they look cool with everything. It's a purchase I certainly don't regret. That said, I know that they're not the most economical purchase, so I found similar loafers that are also great for travel but are easier on the budget. Scroll to shop them all, along with the Gucci Jordaan Loafers in my favorite colors.
