Jennifer Lopez's knack for making any denim trend look cool continues, as evidenced this week while out with Ben Affleck in L.A. Lopez has been wearing skinny jeans for years, and she shouldn't stop if she likes them. She always looks chic in them, and we have many, many stories to back that up. But this week, she instead wore a similar style that's more in keeping with the current trends: skinny flares.
If you saw Lopez's outfit from the knees up, you'd think she was wearing skinny jeans. But look toward her feet, and you'll see that the jeans flare out and end with slits at the ankle (which makes flares easier to wear if you're on the short side). The jeans add a '70s-inspired look that feels fresh even though there's nothing new about the '70s.
