The Biggest International Street Style Stars Who Have Attended Fashion Week Australia

Amanda Bardas

This May 9–20, Who What Wear Australia will present its inaugural Street Style Awards, honouring the tastemakers and industry insiders whose style sets the tone and influences the world of fashion today. Every day this week we'll be celebrating the best retrospective street style looks with curated features, and then every day next week (May 16–20) we'll bring you the best looks from Fashion Week Australia. And most importantly, make sure you check back on May 23 for the announcement of all our honourees.

It’s no surprise that Fashion Week Australia can pull a good crowd. With a strong stable of designers (Ellery, Maticevski, and Dion Lee, to name just a few), the world’s most beautiful harbour, and an endless list of delicious restaurants and cafés to try, we’d want to visit this little slice of paradise, too.

It’s only in the last few years that street style in Australia really started to gain momentum, and we’ve been lucky enough to have some of the biggest international names visit for fashion week. From Rumi Neely (this editor’s first blog crush), to our very own founder Hillary Kerr, keep scrolling to see the biggest international delegates who’ve visited our shores for fashion weeks past.

Who do you think is the international delegate with the best street style? Vote in the comments below and then shop these street style worthy pieces while you're at it!
