Only a True Fashion Girl Would Do This at Her Wedding

Adrianna Barrionuevo

When you're an international fashion editor, Anna Dello Russo is your bridesmaid, your gown is a one-of-a-kind Alexander McQueen, and everyone in the fashion world flocks to your three-day wedding affair in a chic Italian town. At least, that's what went down at Giovanna Battaglia's Capri nuptials—and when said fashion world flies in from all over the globe to celebrate, you already know she's having one of the most stylish wedding ever.

Vogue contributor and ultimate fashion insider Hamish Bowles was in attendance and penned a piece on the lavish wedding of the season. In it, he describes the picture-perfect ceremony—complete with "pretty broderie anglaise parasols" for the guests—and drops a total fashion bomb on the one detail only a fashion girl could pull off. "All the guests were fabulously dressed—Giovanna had sent mood boards to guide their choices for each day's events," Bowles writes. Only someone truly dedicated to the art of fashion would take the time among the millions of other wedding details to assist guests with their packing list. Hey, it paid off: Every guest looked incredible, from Anna Dello Russo's Dolce & Gabanna ball gown to Lauren Santo Domingo's 1985 Christian Lacroix for Jean Patou polka-dot number.

Below, take a look at just some of the stylish guests who attended Giovanna's beautiful Italian wedding.
