What’s in a Chanel jacket? Well, me, yesterday, rue Cambon. But also my late grandmother. The spirit of Karl, and Coco. And (behind me) the unforgettable image of Jackie in that fated convertible in Dallas. Now who says fashion can’t make you cry? @chanelofficial

I’ve always been a believer in the idea that it’s less about your makeup and more about your skin. Having a healthy, glowing complexion is the foundation of any beauty routine. So how do we get there? After posting yesterday’s ‘Beauty Cabinet Clean Out’ to my stories (now in my hi-lights), I was inundated with questions about what products to treat different skin conditions. But one of the prevailing questions was how to create a routine! A routine is something that is so incredibly personal. So many factors play into creating one but the most important thing is to understand what your skin issues are first and to only invest in items that address the issues you're having with your skin. Now more than ever, we are bombarded with the latest and greatest products on the market that claim to have it all - and trust me, it’s incredibly easy to be influenced by these claims. But know, just because a brand or product is trending, doesn’t necessarily make it the best for you. The best investment you can make for your skin doesn’t start with expensive products, it starts by seeing an esthetician or Dermatologist. Especially if you have a recurring issue like acne, acne scars, rosacea or eczema - conditions that were brought to my attention in the questions asked from my stories. Since moving to New York, my skin has been incredibly dry and I’ve also battled cystic acne since I was 19. So if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my quest for a glowing complexion, it’s that not one product fits all and a carefully curated routine is a necessary first step in getting there - which is exactly what an esthetician will help you create. I know all of you are located across the globe but if you are in New York, I would highly recommend seeing @karinanycskincare and If you’re in Los Angeles, the best of the best is @debbie.skinworship who treated my skin for years.
