This Early-Fall Outfit Trend Is a Great Use of Your Summer Dresses

It's weird to start thinking about fall outfits when we barely wore any summer ones this year, might as well accept it. Making the summer-to-fall transition seamlessly is quite the challenge, so we'll be sure to share as many outfit ideas as we can, to help make it a little easier. So let's get to it.

Model Irina Shayk may be Russian, but she's really embraced the cool NYC-girl aesthetic, as evidenced yesterday for a walk around the city. She combined several trends to create the simple outfit in question, and we predict the whole look will be worn by many very soon. All you need is a summer dress (she went with a Reformation mini), an oversized blazer (even better if it's leather, but whatever you've got works), and combat boots (yep, it's time to dust them off).

Read on to see the outfit combination in action and shop it for yourself.
