I don't know about you, but the thing I get most excited about when fall approaches is the new crop of accessories. After summer's decidedly playful options (e.g., shell-embellished everything), the luxe boots, bags, and jewelry of fall feel considerably more substantial and timeless, making them very investment-worthy. If you've taken a scroll through Instagram recently, you probably noticed that among the bikini pics are plenty of detail shots of gorgeous new designer accessories, and I've been taking notes.

These days, most It accessories are born on Instagram, so that's the medium I've used to share the latest with you below. The thing that used to give me pause about It items is that everyone either has them, wants them, or has at least seen them a million times. But over the years, I've realized that because everyone's personal style is unique, it's very possible to make said It item look completely fresh.
