It's an Amazon Haul: 5 Finds That Are Too Good to Ignore

One of the many things that excite me as a fashion editor? Getting to try on clothes I dream about in real life. We love a good haul here at Who What Wear, and as I assume you do too, you'll be pleased with the latest one from our reliable old friend, Amazon

About a month ago, I found myself surfing the website for niche grocery items and household supplies. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before I made my way to the mega retailer's fall fashion section. My session ended with a cart full of sweaters and dresses (no Japanese mayo or TikTok-famous mini waffle makers, I'm sorry to report). In total, I ordered five items: a mix of knit separates from Amazon's in-house brand The Drop along with a few low-key and trending basics. All in all, everything turned out to be a hit, and yes, I've already told all my friends about them. Keep scrolling to see the results of my try-on and to see how I've been styling the pieces.

Goodthreads Seersucker Oversized Button Shirt

It's the year of the big shirt, but I was still surprised to see Amazon get in on the trend. While it has everything, it's still somewhat slow to get in on the trends heating up on the internet. Once I saw this, I knew I had to try it. Oversize shirts have been an irreplaceable part of my wardrobe since the spring, and I'm always looking for a new one to add.

This was surprisingly a hit. I didn't know what to make of the pink and blue stripes, but it really works, especially if you're into the preppy aesthetic. I wore it with a sports bra and sweatpants.

Out of all of Amazon's brands, The Drop speaks to me the most. The entire line revolves around designs developed by influencers, so 99% of the time, it offers the most trend-forward pieces of the bunch. This top is more timeless than anything, but it still hits on the neutral-knits wave everyone has been riding lately.

Considering the $22 price tag, the top-notch quality definitely threw me for a loop. I can't wait to buy this in other colors, too.

Daily Ritual Jersey Mock-Neck Maxi Dress

I'm not going to lie. My expectations for this one were low. My full intentions were to wear this around the house and while running errands when my body is in a car 90% of the time. But wow, I was wrong. First, the fit is unexpectedly cool. It gave me a Helmut Lang, '90s feel, specifically when it came to the long column silhouette and slate-gray color. The material is on the thinner side, so I suggest wearing it with shapewear.

Here, I added sunglasses (another Amazon buy) and sleek leather boots.

Amazon Essentials Soft Touch Hooded Sweater

Fun fact: I'm cold 80% of the time, so yes, I'm that person wrapped up in a blanket whenever aggressive air-conditioning starts up. I bought this hoodie to wear during the day when I'm in uncontrollably cold environments, and now, it's all I want to wear. True to its name, the material really is super soft to the touch. I'm currently wearing it as I write this story. Now, I'm just waiting on Amazon to drop the matching pants.

Making the Cut Season 2 Episode 6 Winning Look, Andrea's Black Dress

My mom is a steadfast fan of Making the Cut, so I partially selected this as an ode to her. I love the idea of buying a piece "straight off the runway" and getting to experience the feeling of wearing something one of a kind. After slipping this on, I instantly fell in love with the thick material and cowl neckline. The fabric is stretchy enough that it hugs your figure in the best way possible.

All I need is an occasion to wear this to. I styled it here with point-toe heels and a simple necklace. For a night out, I'd throw in a simple ruched clutch.
