EmRata Wore the Winter Skinny-Jean Outfit a Podiatrist Wouldn't Touch

Let's get one thing clear: We're not in the business of shaming anyone for their outfit choices (you do you). But we've picked up on a few celeb outfits lately that style skinny jeans in some pretty unconventional ways, and this Emily Ratajkowski look serves as yet another "mistake" It girls are admittedly pulling off. I'm calling her skinny-jean styling idea a "mistake" not because I wouldn't wear her outfit myself (I would), but because I recently gleaned a piece of noteworthy advice from my podiatrist about her choice in footwear—and the advice definitely skewed negative.

As I recently shared, podiatrist and Gotham Footcare founder Miguel Cunha weighed in on the sneaker trends he avoids like the plague, and—surprise—Ratajkowski's hiking boot–sneaker hybrids were a definite no from him. Why, exactly? "They are too bulky and heavy for everyday use and may cause muscle fatigue," he noted, "which can lead to posture changes as well as other aches and pains." Sorry, EmRata. Your shoe choice definitely hits on a major sneaker trend, but it turns out the sneaker boots are hardly a healthy choice.

Scroll down to see how Emily Ratajkowksi wore the controversial sneakers with her skinny jeans and then shop her outfit idea (at your own risk).
