There was definitely a time in my life when working out in just a sports bra—i.e., no shirt on top—made me feel "extra" at the gym. But now, sports bras are getting more and more stylish as the years go on, ultimately making me feel like covering up an adorable sports bra with a sweaty T-shirt is a crime. With that said, I'm here to share with you a handful of cute sports bras you won't ever want to cover up.

When your sports bra looks like it was designed to be worn all on its own, you'll feel more confident in your decision to ditch your top. In other words, your outfit choice will look and feel 10 times more intentional (because it is). Will that result in a better workout? I would like to think so. Whether you're more comfortable in a crop-top style bra, are on the hunt for statement straps, or just need a mini makeover to your athleisure drawer, the selection ahead will check all of your sporty boxes, I promise.

Speaking of athleisure, read up on five new things I learned about athleisure from a celebrity trainer.
