Jessica Biel Ditched Skinny Jeans for the Denim Trend No One Can Agree On

We sound like a broken record at this point, but Jessica Biel wears skinny jeans a lot. This isn't groundbreaking news, but people do look to her for skinny jean styling inspiration, so we gladly report on her multitude of skinny jean outfits every single time the photographers catch her in them (see an example from earlier this week, what she's wearing with black skinny jeans, and the skinny jeans she wore with controversial ankle boots). But last night, while out with husband Justin Timberlake, Biel shocked us by wearing something different: cropped-flare jeans.

Now here's the thing, lately, we've been seeing fewer and fewer fashion girls wearing cropped flares, and we have even advised replacing them with fresher styles recently (like loose jeans), but then a major celebrity (e.g., Biel) will go out and wear them, and it makes everyone question the future of the trend all over again. Not only that, brands do continue to make the style even though the general fashion emphasis is now leaning toward looser jeans and straight-leg styles.

Regardless of where you stand on the cropped-flares debate, you have to admit that Biel wears them well. She chose a form-fitting black style (that could easily be mistaken for skinny jeans from the knees up) with a graphic T-shirt, cape, and ultra-high ankle boots (oh, and a Birkin bag). Keep scrolling to see her night-out look and shop the most stylish cropped flares in case you're still on board with the trend.
