Coach's Spring Collection Is As Pretty As It Is Playful

For his second collection for heritage leather brand Coach, creative director Stuart Vevers keep in line with some of the aesthetic he utilised in the first collection for F/W 14: old-fashioned Western Americana, New York City punk, and alluring femininity all make an appearance.

Last season's horror-inspired motif borrowed from the cinematic work of director Stanley Kubrick, but this season Vevers went for a similar vibe with a more original approach, working with California-based animator Gary Baseman, whose darkly whimsical illustrations appear on some of the sweaters.

Here's the other thing: While the collection remains dark and vaguely punk-influenced, it's also quite pretty, incorporating pastels into shaggy jackets and bags. Keep scrolling to see the entire collection, and head over to our NYFW hub to see more of our favourite shows!
