I would just as soon leave my apartment without my phone or wallet than without a stack of rings and my favorite gold hoops. That's how strongly I believe in the styling power of jewelry. I recently caught up with my insanely stylish co-worker, Aussie babe, and mom of two, Rachel Zeilic, who might even love jewelry more than I do. (And that's saying something.)

I knew I wasn't alone when she told me, "Jewelry, to me, is like underwear. It's essential. Even if I'm wearing sweats I'll still have it on, I feel naked without it." Naturally, I wanted to get her take on spring jewelry, so we met up at Piaget's new, beautiful Rodeo Drive boutique to try on the stunning Possession collection, and I got to see IRL how Rachel is stacking and styling her favorite pieces this season.

Rachel walked in wearing a classically chic outfit: a crisp white button-down and straight-leg jeans. "My spring style is a classic capsule wardrobe. Think perfect jeans, tees, tailored shirts, and blazers paired with stunning accessories," she said of her look. "These pieces form the perfect blank canvas to which you can add statement jewelry."

Her first jewelry look involves plenty of gold and diamonds. Am I in heaven, or what? I love two things about this styling. First, that arm-party situation is simply beyond words, with or without the watch. If I had to pick one to describe it, I'd choose "gorgeous." Second, I love that she chose to wear just one piece with some color (peep her pinky finger) to add an unexpected pop. "It's stunning, it's a statement, and it will turn heads. But it goes with everything," Rachel said of this first jewelry combo.

Rachel and I talked a lot about the idea that fine jewelry never goes out of style. "When I was younger, I would buy cheap, fun things all the time. But eventually, I learned to save up for the items I really wanted that I'd wear for years to come," she told me. So what makes these particular pieces worth the investment? Many things, but my favorite detail is the element of movement that many of them feature. It's that special something that makes these pieces feel truly unique.

Rachel's jewelry motto this spring is "more is more," so instead of choosing just one color, she opted for three. The bright green, blue, and red pieces also tap into the dopamine dressing trend that's so huge right now. Anything that adds a cheerful touch to your look and your mood is a winner, and these colorful pieces do exactly that.

Before I even asked Rachel which pieces were her favorites, I knew what her answer would be. "The Possession Open Bangle Bracelets stack so well, and I didn't truly understand the brilliance of the colorful rings until I tried them on," she said.

The rings are worth wearing solo, but there's something really bold and exciting about stacking two on the same finger. I don't know what your preference is, but personally, I'd go for a third.
