Puffer
When it comes to puffers, I'm partial to simple styles these days.
Sweater
I pretty much live in this sweater from November to February.
Turtleneck
For when you don't feel like wearing a scarf but also don't want your neck to freeze.
Sunglasses
Anyone else like to opt for a darker pair of shades in the colder months?
Jeans
A good pair of black jeans will save you this season.
Trousers
Bonus: Front-slit pants are perfect for showing off your shoes.

Gloves
As much as I don't enjoy wearing gloves, there's no denying they're a necessity.
Socks
High socks are a must once the temperatures drop. Not only do they keep your lower legs warm, but they also protect your ankles from the irritation of ankle boots.
Utility Boots
I find that lug-sole boots with a little extra height make dressing cool in the winter a lot easier—even on snow days.

Oversize Blazer
The bigger, the better.

Extra points if it's zebra.
Leather Shirt
Leather anything counts, really, but the shirt is a versatile way to add the trend to your wardrobe.
