I Found the Best Under-$46 Accessories on the Internet and I'm Ready to Prove It
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 25 finds on their current wish list.
I'm a huge fan of summer. Massive. I'm also a big fan of things that only look expensive, and since 2020 is definitely a year of going easy on the spending, I'm honoring the fact that summer has finally arrived with this roundup of surprisingly affordable accessories.
TBH, my summer wardrobe is pretty well set at this point––a few years of more considerable shopping from fave spots like The Undone means I've got a really good base of timeless pieces that will last me many seasons to come. So, at the moment, accessories are where I go to play.
All of these look way more luxe than their price tags. All of these are modern takes on chic, timeless classics. All are on trend this season, but much more importantly, will be in style for many, many summers to come. Woven bags? Flat leather slides? Gold jewelry? You bet. All coming in under $46. Have at it!
Add something a little summery to your necklace party.
The most summery bag of all the summer bags, and an absolute steal for only $30. (It also comes in pink, if that's your jam.)
If you're looking for Black-owned jewelry brands to support, you need to know about Yam. They're pleasantly affordable (lots of pieces under $100), made in Queens, NY, and selling out, so be sure to follow them on Instagram before they restock some of my other fave pieces (like this sun choker).
The hat that's saved me from getting sunburnt (while staying in line with a dress code) at many a summer wedding.
Not only does this vegan leather belt look super elevated, but since it's woven you can secure it anywhere (instead of being stuck with where the holes were punched). It works as well with regular-rise denim shorts as it does with high-waisted trousers or to cinch in a dress. One day—when we travel again—this is the only belt you'll need to pack.
This bag is a 12 monther. (And the strap just feels really good to hold onto… People who have one, you know what I mean.)
Still minimal, just a little more interesting, and very on sale.
Missoma is also here to upgrade your hair situation with their 18ct gold-plated clips.
Love minimal gold jewelry in more organic shapes. Handmade by a Black-owned small business in Georgia, these bracelets are shoppable via Amazon and surprisingly affordable enough to stack as aggressively as it pleases you.
I honestly don't remember what I wore on my feet before slides were a thing.
I once did not know super scrunchies were a thing, but I'm now converted and can't remember what it was like to live that way.
It doesn't really get more on-trend-meets-wardrobe-staple than this ruched (check) mock-croc (check) '90s-inspired (check) shoulder bag (check).
Such a big fan of owning cool sunglasses I don't have to continually stress about.
As someone who loses earring backs like it's her job, I file these little guys under everyday essentials.

Natalie leads the style direction for the all content we create in partnership with our friends at various brands plus the legendary team of editors who work on those shoots and stories. She loves collaborating and storytelling, so it's a really fun role for her. It's also the first full-time job she's ever had! She started out in her career as a very mediocre model who agreed to her first styling job to impress a photographer she had a crush on, which led her down a happy path of contributing to Vogue Australia and working as a stylist, fashion writer, and creative director for all sorts of brands and titles. She has a bachelor of communications, but most of her career opportunities came up thanks to some fleeting and accidental street style moments. She's been at Who What Wear for three and a half years and still loves to work as a freelance consultant with brands and designers to shoot their campaigns in NYC. She's originally from New Zealand, and Bondi Beach is her second home, but like just about every other 20-something, she fell in love with New York at some point. She lives in Williamsburg with her fiancé and their weird little dog, Ruby. If you ever need reccies for feel-good fashion, legit coffee spots, politics podcasts, or non-intimidating yoga studios, she's very much your girl.
