I Have All My Fall Weekend Looks Planned—Take a Peek

No, I really can't believe we're already in the middle of October. That's probably because it's taken a bit longer than usual for the temperature to drop and the chilly weather we're dreaming of to begin. But now that it's finally cool enough to bring out the sweaters, jackets, and boots, I can start to think about my real fall weekend wardrobe instead of the transitional mix I've been relying on these past few weeks. Whether you have your schedule packed with plans or are taking the more easygoing route, I've found plenty of off-duty inspiration for you to re-create on the next few weekends. Activities like crisp autumnal walks and pumpkin picking call for comfortable layers as the perfect choice to embrace the season in style.

If you're not already in the fall spirit, the looks below will fill you with excitement. I looked toward the fashion set and found plenty of outfits that are chic and cozy enough for the weekends to come. After seeing the inspiration ahead, you can spend less time worrying about what to wear and more time stomping in those crunchy brown leaves. 'Tis the season.

When you feel like you can't think of an outfit, a thick sweaterdress is an easy one-stop outfit solution. Whether your silhouette is short or long, it'll always pair well with tall boots.

A classic leather jacket is an item that'll make any outfit instantly cooler. Pairing the jacket with sleek pin-striped trousers and a cozy tank makes for an excellent off-duty combo.

Market Director Bobby Schuessler pointed out that striped sweaters are a fashion favorite right now, and he's absolutely correct. I can see myself donning this sweater-and-trousers look for a Saturday lunch.

Neutral outfits don't have to be boring, and this is a perfect example. By playing around with different tones like camel and cream and then adding texture with leather, Yaminah Mayo created multiple interesting points in this outfit that catch your eye.

An oversize blazer will be your best friend this season, and not just for the office. Tone things down with flared trousers and chunky boots.

Who said matching suiting couldn't be done casually? A loose fit is key for this look.

I love printed dresses because they're an easy way to make a statement without too much thinking. I like wearing them more in the fall because you can layer like Kellie Brown did with the trench coat above.

When I imagine myself running errands, this is what I want to be wearing. It's simple with the button-down and jeans, but the sweater over the shoulder is a stylish pop.

Despite the fact that most of the current market is neutral in the fall, it doesn't hurt to add some bright hues to your ensembles.

Who said all-black looks had to be boring? Adding a printed bag like this checkered one or funky shoes is an easy way to level up a simple 'fit like this.

Transition the slip dresses you wore all summer into fall with an oversize shacket and chunky loafers.

I know you've probably been eyeing a pair of funky pants for some time but are wondering how to style them. I love opting for pants that include a neutral color so they can be paired with other pieces easily. Since these Jaded London pants have cream, Maha took the opportunity to create the perfect 'fit with a cream jacket and nude T-shirt.

Sometimes, you just want to wear sweatpants on your day off. But that doesn't mean they don't have to look stylish. A long coat and some vintage-inspired sneakers will have you channeling your inner off-duty model.

If you have a few leather pieces in your arsenal, it doesn't hurt to pair them together and go for a full leather look. Instead of a plain top, I'm planning on donning a printed shirt with my leather separates to draw a central focus.
