Meet the Girls Who Launched Nice Martin and Landed Their Dream Job

Amanda Stavropoulos

In honour of Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power’s new book, The Career Code: Must-Know Rules for a Strategic, Stylish, and Self-Made Career ($30), we’re kicking off an interview series featuring 17 questions (in honour of the book’s 17 chapters) about the work lives of the most inspirational female leaders in the fashion industry. So far, we’ve tapped Pip Edwards, Julie Stevanja, Rachel Zoe, and more. Up next? Jessica Cadby and Jody Feldhofer of Nice Martin.

Nice Martin is hands-down one of our favourite labels. It’s Australian, affordable, and fills our wardrobes with all those pieces we didn’t realise we were missing. It is our go-to when we feel the urge to shop. Why? Because we know we’re going to find an on-trend piece that is not only kind to our wallets, but one we’ll wear over and over. Oversized shapes and luxe-feel fabrics like linen and washed satin are perfect for dressing up Monday to Friday, or down on the weekends.

The ladies behind the label, Jessica Cadby and Jody Feldhofer have seen huge success since it launched in 2015. We spotted the label all over Fashion Week Australia (probably due to Carmen Hamilton and Yan Yan Chan being huge fans of the label), and for now, its rise shows no sign of slowing down.
