How Women in 7 Different Countries Wear the Same Pretty Dress

Heading to snow-capped mountains is enticing this time of year, but so is escaping the frigid cold altogether. If you're lucky enough to be jetting off somewhere warm this winter, I found pretty much the ideal dress to pack: Rhode Resort's Ella Dress. I first noticed the frock on Instagram (of course) and realized that it's a go-to choice for women all around the world, from Italian model Natalia Bonifacci to Vogue Mexico Editor in Chief Karla Martinez de Salas.

The Ella Dress comes in over a dozen different colors and patterns, including some prints exclusive to Shopbop's new capsule collection. I'm tempted to collect them all—is that overkill? Well, once you take a gander at how women wear the dress in St. Lucia, Spain, England, the U.S., and more, you'll probably agree. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that the dress also has celebrity fans, including Kelly Rowland. Scroll down to see how women wear the piece in seven different countries and to shop it for yourself.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
