How This Fashion Blogger Shops During Sale Time

It's that exciting month of the year when Aussie retailers are heading into end of financial year sales. While it doesn't take much for our editors to fill shopping carts online and as if we need another reason to shop, The UNDONE has just kicked off its mid-year sale and we're all onboard. The online boutique is one of our favourites. Reason being? It's full of curated local and international designers with stylish takes on the classics— think blazers, slip dresses, midi skirts, and denim. Goodbye money, but hello fresh wardrobe pieces.

We reached out to co-founder of The UNDONE, Sara Donaldson, to find out her best advice on shopping at this time of year. "Sales are the perfect time to snap up those wardrobe essential pieces at a fraction of the price," she says. "But avoid the trends and zone in on the classic, well-made items, with elevated detailing." As the chilly (and rainy) season kicks in, we'll definitely be purchasing quality basics to add to our wardrobe to wear under our big coats.
