When a new season arrives, it's a time to reexamine your wardrobe and get some outfit inspiration. Naturally, I always turn to other editors, influencers, designers, and fashion people for new ways to style a look. This can give me a fresh perspective about how to actually style that pair of knee-high boots and statement jacket that have been sitting in my closet, desperately waiting to be worn, and it gives me an idea of versatile pieces I should buy for the season.

Below, I rounded up 10 of the best spring outfits I've seen on my IG feed and included stylish items to replicate each look for yourself. Since spring can be tricky in terms of temperature, the forthcoming list includes everything from tank tops and denim maxi skirts to shearling coats and boots, so you have everything you need in case the weather changes dramatically (as it's been known to do between March and June). There are spring outfits that cover a range of occasions, including a dinner date, a walk in the park, a farmers market run, a cozy day in, or any other activities you have lined up for yourself. Believe me. There are plenty of options. Keep scrolling to shop each one and just drool over some inspiring ensembles.

What you'll need: brown polo + tan miniskirt

A chocolate-colored ribbed polo shirt with a tan miniskirt creates a gorgeous tonal look. Finish it off with a brown shoulder bag and a coffee to keep the espresso theme going.

What you'll need: gray sweater + gray pants

A groutfit is the perfect effortless ensemble that looks downright luxurious but is also super cozy and comfortable. Layer a button-down shirt under your go-to gray sweater, throw on some slouchy trousers, and finish it off with a sleek gray bag.

What you'll need: tank top + denim maxi

We all know how fickle the spring temperatures can be. If it's an especially balmy day, a white tank top, a denim maxi, and sporty Adidas sneakers will do just the trick. Tie a sweater around your shoulders or waist in case you need to layer up later.

What you'll need: bomber jacket + wide-leg pants

An oversize bomber jacket is a spring-dressing MVP. You can add it to any look to make it the focal point. Plus, it's just straight-up toasty if you need to bundle up. Pair it with wide-leg pants and a contrasting white bag and you've got an A+ outfit.

What you'll need: sweater + knit shorts + Uggs

Just because you're not going anywhere doesn't mean you can't wear a cute outfit. Case in point: ribbed lounge shorts, a coordinating sweater, and Ugg boots worn just to lounge around the house.

What you'll need: shearling coat + black jeans

Camel paired with black is the ultimate color combination. Remember this when you're trying to put together a simple spring outfit that still looks pulled-together. Stiletto boots take things up a notch (literally and figuratively) for a night of drinks or a fancier occasion.

What you'll need: red puffer + red tights

Red is the color of the moment, so don't be shy with it. Fully lean in with a standout puffer and tights in the bold hue. Black Mary Janes, a black bag, and a neutral skirt pull the rest of it together. You'll get tons of compliments on this—trust me.

What you'll need: slip dress + cardigan

Going on a date or somewhere you want to dress up? A slinky, shimmery slip dress is an easy piece to throw on that you can layer a coordinating cardigan and kitten heels with to look polished.

What you'll need: pink sweater + pleated skirt

Add a pop of color in the form of a pink sweater and pair it with a gray miniskirt. Opaque, ribbed gray tights are like a sweater for your legs and will better protect you from chilly winds than sheer ones would.

What you'll need: tweed blazer + tailored pants

Workwear but make it chic. A tweed or houndstooth jacket, tailored trousers, and matching ankle booties will take you from the office to a happy hour afterward. Add a gold necklace or bold hoop earrings for some extra sparkle against all the neutral tones.

Lauren Adhav is a freelance fashion editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she always wanted to work at a fashion magazine. After finally getting an internship at Town & Country in 2015, she moved to New York City and continued to get her footing in the industry with stints at Cosmopolitan, W magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Moda Operandi. In 2017, she returned to Cosmo full time, starting off as the beauty and fashion editorial assistant and working her way to fashion editor. She contributed to both the website and print issues, pitching new ideas, forecasting trends, covering red carpet events, and informing the overall coverage and brand voice.

After five years in NYC, she moved to the West Coast for the sunshine and the change of pace. As a freelance fashion editor, she still contributes to Cosmo and now Who What Wear. She's always trying to get ahead of the next big trend before it goes mainstream and loves discovering fashion brands with a unique point of view (Chopova Lowena, Sandy Liang, and Bode being some of her current favorites). She also spends an unhealthy amount of time online shopping for the perfect piece, and now that she's in L.A., she's rediscovering her soft spot for malls. On the weekends, you can find her walking around the Silver Lake Reservoir, trying to catch up on her tan at Venice Beach, and probably ordering a Chinese chicken salad at Joan's on Third.
