Our Top 10 Looks from the Chanel F/W 15 Show Today

For this season's Chanel ready-to-wear show, Karl Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais into an authentic Parisian cafe aptly named the Brasserie Gabrielle. Models, led by show-opener Cara Delevingne, walked the aisles and then settled into booths or the central bar to sip on fresh grapefruit juice and nibble on baguettes. Kendall Jenner also walked in the show, staying close to her pal Delevingne while they chatted with Lagerfeld-favourite Baptiste Giabconi, who moonlit as bartender. It was certainly not your average cafe!

And croissants aside, the collection was a confection in and of itself, lending a subtly cozier vibe to classic Chanel staples, like the tweed skirt suit and chain-link cardigans. Even the stand-out pieces—like a grey-feathered coat or a roomy, frilled maxi skirt—telegraphed comfort and ease, the perfect dress-up clothes for the too-busy-to-fuss modern woman. To add to the leisurely theme, heels were kept low, and messy updos were swept away from the face with black ribbon headbands. Now, if only all coffee runs came with a side of Chanel.
