Nordstrom currently has quite the offering of chic fall pieces in its new-arrivals section. And yes, many are some of my favorite seasonal trends. Naturally, I wanted to share an edit of all of the pieces I think you’ll be particularly into.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of various trends that will have a strong moment in the coming months. I’m referring to ribbed knits (like the dress featured above), oversize outerwear silhouettes that feel incredibly modern, and forward sweater options.

Keep scrolling to check out the fall trends I added to my Nordstrom cart. I fully intend on referring to said cart when my inner circle asks for fall shopping advice.

Relaxed Tailoring

Suiting and tailored separates get a modern twist thanks to more relaxed cuts.

Cable-Knit Sweaters

In the sweater realm, cable-knit versions reign supreme as a classic yet of-the-moment choice. While a traditional crew neck or turtleneck is great, consider the style in the form of a shrug or dress as well.

Ribbed Knitted Pieces

Ribbed knits in the form of cardigans, dresses, skirts, and so on will continue to shine bright for a chic vibe.

Saturated Hues

Neutrals (like some of the picks featured above) will obviously hold strong, but so will saturated hues to bring optimism and playfulness to a wardrobe.

Dark Denim

Your favorite lighter-wash jeans aren't going anywhere, but it's those darker colors that are also favorites for fashion people this season.

Leopard-Print Pieces

Leopard print is one of those perennial trends that increase in popularity from time to time. This fall, leopard coats and knits are front-runners for many (including me).
