Katie Holmes and I Agree—These Are the Only Comfortable Jeans to Fly In

Wearing jeans to the airport will generally incite a lot of mixed opinions. They're not exactly the most forgiving option to sit for hours in, especially when you're boarding a rather long flight like the one Katie Holmes just took from the U.S. to Australia. For a presumably 14-plus-hour-long journey, the actress boldly opted for Agolde's '90s Mid-Rise Straight-Leg Jeans ($198), a pair of rigid jeans that just so happen to be the perfect jeans to travel in thanks to their loose fit.

I know this because I own a pair of the best-selling jeans myself, and they've quickly become one of my most beloved and most worn pairs. I wear them so much, actually, that I even found myself wearing them to step onto a rather long flight (NYC to L.A.), which I think is a testament to their comfort. But comfort aside, Holmes's jeans nail the '90s trend as their name suggests and have consistently been a top seller on retailers like Shopbop and Revolve, not to mention it's a Who What Wear editor favorite, too.

Holmes expertly styled her jeans with a Western-inspired fringe jacket, white T-shirt, and pointed-toe mules. Scroll down to see her cool and comfortable denim airport outfit and then shop a pair for yourself.
