Bella Hadid Wore a $5000 Outfit, But It's Her $45 Earrings I'm After
Bella Hadid's street style isn't just good, it's truly next-level, as she's shown us over and over again. (Don't worry, we went ahead and built an entire Bella Hadid fall capsule wardrobe—you're welcome.) The supermodel is known for her expert high-low styling, so if you're anything like me, you'll immediately hunt down the pieces she wears to discover how to shop her affordable favorites and where to find similar versions of her higher-end pieces.
On this particular occasion, I was struck by her simple yet expertly accessorized outfit that involved a turtleneck dress cinched with a logo chain belt and styled with knee-high snakeskin boots and gold hoop earrings. Well, after doing a bit of research and yes, some math, I came to the conclusion that Hadid's outfit is valued at well over $5000 from head to toe. And yet, despite her sold-out designer bag and nearly impossible-to-find snakeskin boots, it was still her simple $45 hoop earrings from L.A. brand Luv AJ that I found myself drawn to the most.
You see, gold hoops aren't a brand-new trend, but they're a jewelry item that's proven to be a potent one since even the simplest outfits are transformed with the addition of chunky hoop earrings. With that, I'll let you see Hadid's chic (albeit pricey) outfit below, and further down, shop her $45 hoops along with the rest of her outfit (feel free to double-check my math).
On Bella Hadid: R13 Boyfriend Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater ($895); Céline Python Leather and Suede Boots ($1809); Chanel chain belt; Dolce & Gabbana Lucia Lizard-Effect Leather Shoulder Bag ($1497, no longer available); and Luv AJ The Baby Amalfi Tube Hoops ($45)
