Hannah Almassi is the editor in chief of Who What Wear UK. Hannah has been part of the the Who What Wear brand since 2015, when she was headhunted to launch the UK sister site and social channels, implement a localised content strategy and build out the editorial team. Since then she has assembled a 15-strong team of incredibly talented editors, affiliate experts, social media gurus and video specialists and leads them across everything to do with content and the brand, both editorially and commercially. Hannah was nominated for Editor of the Year at the BSMEs in 2023, and led Who What Wear UK to a nomination for Best Editorial Team at the PPAs also in 2023. Hannah is deeply passionate about nurturing talent, establishing a productive, supportive and thriving workplace where people can be their best selves, and using the platform to celebrate diverse voices and personal styles. Hannah takes great pride in creating content that is democratic, authentic and full of value in every piece.

Hannah joined Who What Wear following a seven-year tenure at Grazia magazine, where she led front-of-book news, fashion features and shopping specials as fashion news and features editor. With experience in both print and digital across fashion and beauty, Hannah has over 16 years in the field as a journalist, editor, content strategist and brand consultant. Hannah has interviewed industry heavyweights such as designers including Marc Jacobs and Jonathan Anderson through to arbiters of taste including Katie Grand and Anna Dello Russo. As a multi-faceted editor who always likes to get stuck in, Hannah also has experience in styling and creatively directing photoshoots. Her styling roster includes celebrity talent such as Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Suki Waterhouse and Agyness Deyn. A skilled moderator and lecturer specialising in the shift to digital media and e-commerce, Hannah’s opinion and work has been sought by the likes of CNBC, BBC, The Sunday Times Style, The Times, The Telegraph and MatchesFashion.com, among many others. Hannah is often called upon for her take on trends, becoming known as a person with their finger of the pulse of what’s happening in the fashion space for stylish Brits. She is also a big supporter of young talent, often giving up time to host sessions for universities such as London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins as well as being a regular fixture as a judge at Graduate Fashion Week.

Hannah started her journey receiving a first-class honours degree in fashion design at Nottingham Trent University. Hannah pivoted her course towards journalism after realising the painstaking clothing production process couldn’t match her fast-paced energy and mind—leading a responsive, premium digital-first brand is a far better match! Hannah currently resides in Eastbourne after relocating from London with her photographer husband, incredibly busy son and highly Instagrammable cat.
