There's something about glamorous shoes that makes women go wild. Maybe it's the design, or maybe it's the expensive price tag that somehow lures us in? Either way, we have a thing for what we put on our feet every day that there's no denying—we all have a weakness.

Today, we’ve been thinking about the shoe trends that are predicted to be huge in 2018 that we just can't shake. And no, they're not the ‘ugly’ sock boots or the ballet flat sneakers we’ve seen roaming Instagram in recent months. We’re talking shoe trends that are a bit more glamorous: perspex, fur detailing, satin and feather shoes to name a few. The shoes you dream of strutting into a party in.

Especially at this time of year, when socialising is at its peak, we’re skipping the comfortable sneakers and buying these breathtaking shoes instead.

Buckle detailing gives a whole new meaning to the classics. Give your go-to black pumps and loafers a chic update in 2018.

Stuart Weitzman Ryan Leather Slippers ($825)

Prada Pointed Brooch Mules ($1013)

The 2017 kitten heel lives on, only this time it's a little more architectural and artistic.

Loewe Egg-heel Point-Toe Leather Mules ($1230)

Neous Brassia Slide in White/Transparent ($545)

Designers are getting super creative with this trend which means we're in it for the long run.

Marni Sandal Shoe in Camellia ( $832 ) ($465)

Topshop Nimble Square Toe Mules ($97)

Sandals, boots and heels are exaggerated for 2018, lengthening up the calf. Get ahead of the trend before your friends do.

Chanel Suede Calfskin Light Pink ($1630)

Mango Gathered Leather Boots ($280)

The '90s is the fashion decade that keeps on giving. Also known as lucite, the naked perspex shoes are fun and ornamental. Thanks to Yeezy, this trend is going nowhere fast.

Maryam Nassir Zadeh Paris Oxford Lucite Heel ( $711 ) ($497)

Brother Vellies Dhara Sandal in Nude ( $495 ) ($273)

You probably hated the trend at first but admit it now, fur-detailing shoes are kind of the best trend that ever circulated.

Valentino Fur-Trimmed 95mm Sandals ($1860)

Avec Modération Kitzbuhel Faux-Fur Slides ( $384 ) ($230)

If you think embellishment is limited for out of office, think again. These styles are good enough to wear seven days a week.

Rachel Comey Beaded Wext Heel in Olive ( $495 ) ($273)

Rochas Crystal-Embellished Satin Slides ($934)

Pretty satin is here to stay—you can party in these shoes for hours.

Mango Satined Ankle-Cuff Sandals ($80)

Ivy Park Satin Logo Sliders by Ivy Park ($53)

Prada Feather-Trimmed Satin Slippers ( $880 ) ($616)

Topshop Feather Sandals ($75)

Boy are these pastel shoes made for summer. We're ditching thongs for these slides.

Nelson Made Mich Slide Multi ($179)

Ancient Greek Sandals Taygete Bow ($234)

This should really just become a wardrobe staple. Metallic shoes can take an average outfit and make it memorable.

ATP Atelier Carmen ($419)
