And Now, Here's the Latest Colour to Make a Comeback

Allyson Payer

Unless you've been hiding away on a deserted island for the past couple of months, you're probably acutely aware that red is the reigning It colour right now. But with the S/S 18 shows still in full swing, new colour trends are presenting themselves on the regular, and the latest one to make a case for spring's It colour trend is on the opposite side of the colour wheel from red: mint green.

While it's certainly been big in previous years, this soft pastel has been quite under-the-radar in recent seasons, but thanks in part to the Stockholm-based Acne Studios, that could all change soon. The pretty, optimistic hue adorned many of the pieces that came down the runway, in the form of fluid suits, maxi dresses, knitwear, and outerwear. Pastels for spring aren't exactly groundbreaking, but this is one that feels particularly fresh given its recent absence.
