This Is What $44K Sunglasses Look Like

Allyson Payer

Linda Farrow: creator of luxe eyewear that counts Rihanna, Karlie Kloss, and Kate Bosworth as fans. Aside from being a celebrity favourite, the brand is known for its plethora of designer collaborations and its high prices, with most pairs clocking in at around $500 to $1000. The reason behind the high price point is the material used—usually 24-karat gold or titanium.

That said, the brand has really outdone itself this time. As WWD reported, Linda Farrow just released its highest-priced shades yet, a 24-karat gold, diamond-encrusted pair for $44,000 (yes, really), unveiled yesterday at the Lane Crawford store in Hong Kong.

While $44,000 could get you a lot of things (32 Gucci bags, perhaps), if you have five digits to spend on sunglasses, these are certainly worthy of the investment. The brand also just released an $15,000 white-gold pair and a rose-gold pair for $11000.

Keep scrolling to see the pricey shades for yourself and to shop a few similar pairs with a little less sticker shock.
