Welcome to #WhoWhatWearing, a series in which we highlight you, our stylish community of readers. Each of the following looks came straight from a photo you tagged us in on Instagram. Want to be featured next time? You guessed it: Use #WhoWhatWearing on the outfit posts you want us to see.

When I think about what makes the Who What Wear community such a fun group, it strikes me that we all have one thing in common, no matter what differences we might have in taste, geographical location, age, or budget, our love of trends connects us. (Or rather, our love of discussing them.) I've witnessed firsthand how there's nothing that gets the comments firing in our Facebook group or on one of our Instagram posts than a hotly debated new fashion trend. Y'all have opinions for days, and I'm here for it.

I know for me, there are "weird" trends I love but also more mainstream ones that I'm not necessarily a fan of, too. Everyone has a different take on the lineup of trends in the market at any given moment (it's what makes each of our styles unique, after all), so I thought it would be interesting to tap some of our community members and stylish WWW readers to get their take on which 2020 fashion trends they're all about trying, and, consequently, which ones they're politely passing on.

The group I reached out to named nine trends they're super down to wear and pointed to four they'll be glossing over, so keep scrolling to discover them all and shop my picks within each favorable style.

"You will definitely find me adhering to the matching-sweatpants–and-sweatshirt trend. For strolls around the city, I'll keep the sweatpants on and throw on a pair of New Balance sneakers and an oversize blazer to dress it up a bit."—Amy Julliette Lefevre

"I can't get enough of color and I will be taking advantage of this newfound love of saturation while wearing some colorful faux-leather jackets, bags, and pants. I am excited to experiment with more chunky gold jewelry, sporty loungewear, and some longer cut shorts. Think Princess Diana in the '90s."—Lauren Elson

Passing On: A Neutrals-Only Wardrobe

"Until a few years ago, my closet consisted of only black, white, gray, and tan. Boring!"—Elson

"When it comes to my personal style, I usually go for a more classic and timeless look and occasionally mix in a few trendy pieces. One of the trends that I'll be trying this year is lingerie outside the bedroom. I love that this look makes me feel confident and sexy and is slightly unexpected."—Kat Shearer

"A trend I'm looking forward to this year is all the different types of leather pieces and the vibrant colors they are coming in. From jackets to skirts to trenches, I've been seeing such beautiful colors from pastels to earth tones to even neon colors in leather. Leather was huge in the '90s, so I'm excited about the comeback it's making."—Danie Sierra

Passing On: Polka Dots

"I don't think I'll be partaking in polka dots even though I'm seeing them everywhere and lots of brands are using the print again. Honestly, I was never much of a fan and don't see myself becoming one now."—Sierra

"I'll definitely be leaning into the '70s groovy trend. I'm already a huge fan of the prints and silhouettes from the decade. They will be really fun to play around with this year. There aren't really any trends I'm opposed to as long as it's a piece that makes me feel good."—Noor Elkhaldi
